So, it’s been a week since my last blog. I’m not sure why, but going on my own schedule (and the various odd jobs I’ve been doing lately) has kept me away from it. I apologize and will do better from now on. At least I could justify my usual sentence-long blurb, right? Gah, indeed.
I also went to Yosemite National Park for three days last weekend. I was occupied looking at stuff like this:

Yeah, so that’s gorgeous, even from my crappy cell phone camera. Also, this:

So, beautiful scenery aside, here’s what’s been going on with these here comics I do:
Tuesday May 5, 2009
Musketeers do not like people dissing on the French. Even as a misunderstanding. You’ll get rapier-ed.
Wednesday May 6, 2009
Jimmy has dad issues. Mainly, that his dad loves hookers. That’s an issue.

Oh, Daniel Burnham. He’s shown up before, in this comic here. He was a real dude who designed the Chicago World’s Fair, seriously one of the greatest architectural achievements of human history (that was mostly made out of plaster and shoddy wood… they had to tear it down eventually… it’s just a fair). Expect more of these.

Satan is like a big child. Who burns people.
Saturday May 9, 2009
Blues-Guy makes a return. And talks about hookers. There’s a pattern with my humor…

I made an error and made the type on this comic too small. Which is a shame. Because it’s funny. And Antoine Lavoisier was a real scientist who got his head chopped off during the French Revolution. The eye-blinking thing associated to him, however, is not true, but a myth. History is fun!

I’ve only ever been to one “ice cream social”, which is just a stupid way of inviting people to hang out and eat ice cream. Why does that get the moniker “social”, but when I go to a bar and get drunk and hit people that’s just called “Friday”?
Also, the ice cream social I went to did not have ice cream made of people.
TODAY! Thursday May 14, 2009
I love George Washington. The man was a true badass and one of the best presidents we have ever had (if not the best), mostly because he hated the job and didn’t want it in the first place. That should be a requirement of any president. A complete hatred of all things government. I think it would accurately represent the feelings of the people.

Welcome back. Yosemite is on my to-do list of places I’ve yet to visit, so color me green.

So glad you blogged! I’ve missed it. I LOVE today’s comic. GW was a good one. But how can you like someone who hated government so much and vote for…

Don’t start.
